The US –headquartered vendor is aggressively pursuing its “Go to Market” with its sole distributor Redington (India) Ltd for the channel community. On an India Visit, Samuel Chen, Business Development Director form the Asia Headquarters of Authenex Informed, “ we are meeting potential partners of Redington in Mumbai and Bangalore to educate them more about our value offerings. “ Authenex is already popular in the US, Europe and Asian countries like China, Korea, Japan and Taiwan.
“The Indian security market is the fastest growing in the APAC region and we want to capture a major chunk of the “Authentication” market”, he added. Present in India since mid 2007, Authenex would leverage Redington’s wide-spread branch offices, extensive channel ecosystem and dedicated technical support to strengthen its reach in the Indian market, he said
Authenex is offering three products for the Indian Markets. The Authenex Strong Authentication System (ASAS) is an advanced, cost-effective and easy-to – administer, two factor authentication systems that provide secure LAN, VPN, web and outlook web Access (OWA) and email Access.
Authenex tied up with Redington in April this year. “We held training sessions for partners in Chennai, Bangalore, Kerala , Hyderabad, Delhi in the last quarter (April to June)”, said Gautam Hukku, Head –Software Solutions –Strategic Business Unit, Redington India Ltd. He Added,” being a niche security product , we are engaging with 3-4 “ Pure Play” security players in each city. The partner enablement is already underway in Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad and Kolkata. The road map includes tapping the metros and A- Class Cities”.
The main targeted verticals include BFSI, enterprise and telecom. The ASAS System is compatible with the popular remote Firewall and VPN solutions under “Radius Protocol” by networking vendors. “Our partners can enhance their VPN security solutions with our offerings. This helps them offer a comprehensive security suite their end customers,” Said Chen.
